Wednesday Night Tropical Update: No named storms in the Atlantic

The tropics are finally calming least for the next week or so. Hurricane season is far from over with, but it looks like we'll see a break as we end September.

Teddy is a powerful non-tropical low that will move across Nova Scotia and Newfoundland today, but will have tropical storm to hurricane force winds. Tropical storm warnings are in effect for Nova Scotia and Newfoundland.

Paulette has weakened back to a non-tropical low ESE of the Azores. It is forecast to slow down and turn to the south today and Thursday. Then to the WSW on Friday in the open Atlantic.
