HOW TO MAKE MUSHROOMS FETTUCCINE || UNBOXING OUR EARLIEST CHRISTMAS GIFTS BY REQUEST || JANNIBAN DELIGHTS
Just sharing with you the unboxing or opening of our earliest Christmas gift for this 2020 season. The givers requested us to open upon receiving. Guess they are for Christmas decorations. At the same time is sharing with you how we make our Fettuccine with mushrooms and with white sauce and paired with Greek salad which we posted earlier. You simply need :
250 g or 1/2 kilo Fettuccine pasta
5 cups water
2 tbsp Olive oil
1/2 cup minced red onions
4 cups sliced Mushrooms - any variety
1 cup milk
100 to 200 g Soft butter
1 spoon dried Basil
1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
Salt to taste

Simply saute onions until brown. At the same time boil 5 cups water for the fettuccine pasta. When water is boiling, add fettuccine. When onions are sauteed, add butter, and add flour. Mix until well combined. Add milk. Stir to thicken. Once thickened add Mushrooms. Mix and simmer until sauce gets watery. Meanwhile,. When the fettuccine water is boiling, switch the stove. Cover and let the heat from the stove and the hot water from the pot continue to cook the pasta. Once the mushroom sauce is done, drain the al dente fettuccinne and mix with the mushroom sauce. Serve while still hot with any bread, green salad. We served it with Greek salad with avocado which we made earlier.
